  • Starting June 1, 2009 until May 31st, 2010 any current member of HRM will receive the same non-equity benefits as do FBFC owners. Those benefits are as follows:

    Access to “Owner-Only” specials. These deals, which change twice monthly, are deeply discounted items available only to our members. Discounts typically are between 10-50%. Access to bulk discounts. These are purchases of a “bulk” quantity of a particular item. This could be a case or any packaging size that is considered a bulk size—i.e. 25 pound bag of brown rice, etc. Discount amount is 20% off the regular retail price (or the sale price, whichever is the lowest price).

    Access to discounts on “Customer Appreciation Days” (CAD). These deals are one day only and happen 4 times per year. Typically, discounts are 5-10% off all regularly priced items on that day. Additionally, other products are deeply discounted for owners on CAD.

    The Movement & Learning Center can be rented at a 50% discount. Discounted prices range from $20 – $10 per hour.

    Business members of HRM will have to contact Chris Roland, FBFC Grocery Manager (grocery@frenchbroadfood.coop), to determine what discount they’d be eligible to access.
