Urge the Senate to Strengthen the Farm Bill
The Senate Agriculture Committee has released a new Farm Bill discussion draft, and there is still time to improve it.
While the proposal includes some positive steps for organic agriculture, the draft does not restore recent cuts to SNAP, which supports millions of people and the draft does not make the investments needed to help organic farmers and businesses thrive.
Now is the time to speak up. Because this legislation is still a discussion draft, the Senate has an opportunity to improve it.
