Owners who shopped at the Co-op in 2024 now have a Patronage Rebate in their account that reflects 1% of the amount of their 2024 purchases.
What is patronage in a co-op?
- Cooperatives distribute their profits back to their owners, in proportion to their use of the cooperative’s services.
How does patronage work?
- When you shop at the co-op and use your owner number at check-out, we keep track of how much you spend over the year.
- If you have earned a patronage payment, it is credited to your account the following year and you can spend it at the checkout.

Owners now have access to view their accounts online!
If you haven’t yet logged in to your account, please read the instructions below. Owners are already in the system, and don’t need to create a new account, you just need to do a password reset.

View Your Patronage Rebate Online
You can now see your account online where you can view the amount of your 2024 Patronage Rebate Dividend.
Once you are in your account, click on your name next to the shopping cart icon in the top right corner, or “your account” at the top of the page.
- From there, click on “Rewards” to see your 2024 Patronage Rebate, which reflects 1% of your purchases in 2024.
Make Your Ownership Payment Online
There is now another option for making your French Broad Food Co-op equity payment online.
- After you’ve signed in, just click on your name next to the shopping cart icon in the top right corner, or “your account” at the top of the page (see image below).
- From there, for options for “membership details” to make an equity payment.
